The theme for TEDxConstitutionDrive 2010 was “Trust”. Trust as both a noun and a verb. In a small venue with about 60 people, we explored different perspectives on trust that went beyond the basic morality and reached into business, technology and neuroscience to arrive at sometimes surprising conclusions.

Another great TED talk.

The controversial website WikiLeaks collects and posts highly classified documents and video. Founder Julian Assange, who’s reportedly being sought for questioning by US authorities, talks to TED’s Chris Anderson about how the site operates, what it has accomplished — and what drives him. The interview includes graphic footage of a recent US airstrike in Baghdad.

While it appears that this TED talk doesn’t quite fit the premise behind Loss of Privacy, it remains important because, without creativity, children will grow up intolerant of new ideas and other people.

Sir Ken Robinson makes an entertaining and profoundly moving case for creating an education system that nurtures (rather than undermines) creativity.
