DID YOU HAVE ANY IDEA? – with John PILGER from CaTV on Vimeo.

One of the things that almost has never come out of the generally appalling media coverage of Julian and Wikileaks, is the REASON for Wikileaks.

It had a moral base. It was about Justice. He wrote it on the home page of the first Wikileaks. It wasn’t necessarily finally defined, but to use that expression… he nailed his colours and the colours of Wikileaks to the mast.

This was going to be about Justice. It was about seeking Justice through letting people KNOW what is going on.

Apparently, “A Number of these characters blocked the Brooklyn Bridge and they’re attacking cops!” can be said with a straight face while forgetting that the police are attacking citizens. Pat Buchanan easily forgets what actually happened on the bridge that day. These citizens are expressing their constitutional rights, which, now is somehow the wrong thing to do in this country. The media continues to not get what is happening with the Wall Street protests.

From the October 07, 2011 episode of PBS’ McLaughlin Group:

FOX News is even worse.

From October 07, 2011 on News Corp’s FOX News
“Why Don’t They Have Jobs! Because They’re Standing On Wall Street Smoking Pot!”

I honestly don’t know how people can stand listening to these “news” broadcasts because they are so rage inducing. Peter King doesn’t get it either.

Too bad Peter King doesn’t understand how democracy is actually supposed to work.

At least Alan Grayson can make some sense of it all.

Grayson: Let me tell what they’re talking about. They’re complaining about the fact the Wall Street wrecked the economy three years ago and nobody’s held responsible for that. Not a single person has been indicted or convicted for destroying twenty percent of our national net worth accumulated over two centuries. They’re upset about the fact that wall street have iron control over economic policies of this country and that one party is a wholly owned subsidiary of wall street and the other party caters to them as well, that’s the truth of the matter as you said before.
