So a guy heads downtown in Chatham to take some photos. He takes a picture of a fish and chip shop and is duly arrested for his picture taking under Section 44 of the terrorism act.

The Met says it’s okay to take pictures in public. Apparantly, the police officers either can’t read or don’t care. If you’re in the United Kingdom, you might want to carry the Met press release around with you if you intend on taking photos, especially those of fish and chips shops.
