The Air Force has now decided that they want to try to police the internet.  Yeah, it’s evil and you can head over to the article on Wired and read about whether it’s a good idea or not.  I can’t seem to get past the picture of granny on the page and what the hell she has to do with the story.

Isn’t forcing someone to believe what you do under the threat of violence Anti-American?  Having your own beliefs and telling people about them is about the most American you can get.  At least the guy spewing forth the words for this sign got that part right.

I will vehemently defend anyone’s right to practice their chosen religiion in a free and democratic society. However, I absolutely WILL NOT be forced to respect the religion itself and nor should I.

The new iPhone 3GS is completely useless for businesses because it’s encryption is easily defeated in less than two minutes.

“It is kind of like storing all your secret messages right next to the secret decoder ring,” said Jonathan Zdziarski, an iPhone developer and a hacker who teaches forensics courses on recovering data from iPhones. “I don’t think any of us [developers] have ever seen encryption implemented so poorly before, which is why it’s hard to describe why it’s such a big threat to security.”

The iPhone is broken, for all intents and purposes, for anything that needs to be secure.  This includes passwords, credit card details, and social security information.
