At first, it was a good idea, at least in the minds of the politicians.  They wanted to track the identity of any individual that had a drink in a bar or restaurant anywhere in Utah.  Fortunately, there’s been enough public outcry and the governor is backing down on his stance, calling the situation too “big brotherish” and that it likely won’t fit into the law.
